Full "In the Wild" Mode

Smaug goes full in the wild mode when she goes outside. She puffs up and gapes at me when I make the slightest movement and then runs away.

She'd doing this because she's scared and stressed.

If she doesn't enjoy the experience (as indicated above by you) I'd cease forcing the experience on her.

Don't know if you're looking for advice or feedback. If I was giving advice step back from going outside. Use a screened window or sliding door that is open so your beardie can taste/smell the outside but is safe inside. See if he can calm down with that, only do more if he can be calm. Go slow :)

Yes, I agree with what kingofnobbys and dorgendo are saying.
Taking them outside is a horrifying thing for some dragons. Fear of the unknown stresses them bad.
