fish?

we boyght some barely 1" gold fish from petsmart for 17 cents each can i feeed those to my beardie?

he's 10"

I was wondering if there were a small fish that could be used as a feeder. Well the way they flop around would certanly be enticing.

I would say no. You don't see a beardie running around trying to go in the water after a fish. It is not in their diet and they don't need it! Good luck.

but he tried to eat it when i took the fish out of water but he couldn't cause it was too slippery!!! :lol:

I have to agree with Lance. There is no way that a beardie would come into contact with a goldfish in it's natural habitat, so why offer it? If fish was needed in their diet God would have made it so that beardies had regular access to them.

Glad you chose to give the fish away. Just another note here: Petstore fish often times carry a lot of bacteria as well as parasites. I would highly recommend against feeding fish to a beardie based on that fact alone.
