Feeding

Hi,
I just got my beardie and where do I feed it? I read that if you feed it outside your tank. Would that do anything.

When I fed crickets I fed in a spare tank. This is to be sure no crickets are left in the main viv and can bother the beardie. I feed worms now so I feed in the viv.

I feed outside of the tank as well. I use one of them rubbermaid containers to feed him in so that that the crickets won't bite or chew on him while he sleeps. In my opinion, this helps have more daily interaction & will help him/her learn to trust u more quickly.
