This is a little video of our escape artist  . It's not unusual to come home and find him on the back of the couch staring out the window !! I think you have to click on the video to make it play. Enjoy!!

Kimmy, you just may want to rethink that magnet ;)
try a simple latch to keep your little Cat Burgler in ;)

Yeah. He's got it all figured out  Fortunately, it's totally cool for him to run around the house. Bedroom doors are closed and we don't have any other pets in the house so he's good to go. In fact, he will scratch and push until he either gets out or we let him out. He's decided it's much more fun out than in :D

If you are confident in his safety, then I would build a ramp up to that point on his viv, so he can dash down and out as well as back in again !

Naw no need for that, just use a 1 x 4" with some reptile carpet, and use a 2 x 4 as a prop. Course you will want to make sure that it is attached to the bottom of the viv so it doesn't sway and fall ;)

Oh trust me, Beardie's full of tricks. BTW, the name was given by my 8 year old daughter when we got him two years ago  First he figured out how to crawl up the sides of his viv and over the top. We fixed that so he started "busting out" and climbing into our fireplace (not functional right now of course) and falling asleep. Now he gets out, poops in the floor or on the couch, or on the chair and then sits for hours looking out the window. When we take him outside, he loves to run as fast as he can for short bursts and then climbs our Bradford pear tree to rest.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
