He has twigs and sticks to rub on. Rough vines throughout his cage. This morning his tail exploded with shed, its off his feet and back legs. He hates the large pieces hanging off him and will squeak and hiss till its rubbed off
Been a busy day, fed Emily, Emmett and Emilio. Got fresh salads made, cleaned all 3 houses, washed all their bedding and stuffies, scrubbed all their basking furniture. I got 4 beds quilted, the little pillows made, tomorrow is the blankets and attaching everything together. I picked some pretty fabrics for the little beds. Now its time to relax!
Em and Em and Em are doing well. Emilio has really settled in well and I am very pleased with him. Emmett is destroying his house, moving his salad bowl all over the place, knocking down things in his tank. I think he is trying to get to see Emilio as he knows they are next door neighbors and the curtains on Emmetts tank prevents him from seeing Emilio. I should take the curtain down to see what Emmett does. Emily is all over her tank, moved a pillow from her bed to her basking area to lay her head on. Shes really silly! Both Emmett and Emily had salads for breakfast and have fresh salads to boot. Although they both like them a bit dried out from their lamps. Emilio had his roaches and crickets, hes fun to watch catching bugs with his long tongue. He too, has a fresh salad although hes not really interested in it. He was funny today when the mister sprayed, got him in the face and he scrambled up his branch to drink from the leaves after trying to lick his face. So all 3 are doing really well. All three got outside for a bit yesterday for fresh air and sunshine. Its been warm so now we are expecting really cold weather later on.
Emily never ceases to amaze me with how she's so particular about her furniture and where things should be to meet her comfort needs.
I used to have newspaper taped on the one corner of Squirt's tank, so when Pookie's in his tank, he wouldn't be able to see Squirt. Well, that was all fine and dandy when they're all in their homes, but when Pookie's out and about, he ends up pulling back the newspaper, so I ended up removing it.
So Emilio likes salad? I thought they were pure carnivores. Learning alot from you Tonja about Emilio!
Yes, it should be interesting to see how Emmett reacts to Emilio, something so completely different.
Gina, that doesn't surprise me that Pookie would take down the newspaper, he'd have to know what was going on in HIS house, after all he is the boss, right
I love Emily and her housekeeping, she's so interesting how she likes things in specific places. So cute!
Went in there to check on her. I have a stuffie between the glass and the rock basking spot she has so she wont fall down in the opening and not be able to get out. Well she drug the stuffie out and down the basking spot moved her half bed out of the way and put the stuffie in place of her half bed to lay on. I don't know when she does these things or how. Her chair is overturned in its corner behind her bed. I have a small camera on the way so I can set it up in their room to catch her and Emmett doing the things they do. I cant leave the big camera set up as it eats to many memory cards and its hard to go through them to erase what I don't want to keep off them.
I don't know if Emilio eats his salad or not but have noticed it scattered from his little bowl. I do keep it in there as it also helps with humidity since it is wet when I wash it. I have not caught him eating it but have seen him eyeing it. I will continue to keep it in his tank though.
She is a pill. Hubby is always amazed at her and her antics. Me to for that matter. But since she was little she has always been like this. Cant believe she is almost 3 now.
