So I am going to get a male beardie in 2 days, and a friend of mine has a female. We were thinking about breeding them but were worried that one of the parents would eat the young. Would this happen?

Hello, as AHBD said, that isn't going to happen.

But that doesn't necessarily mean you should breed them. In fact, (IMO) I don't think you should. Are you prepared to spend hundreds upon hundreds of dollar raising them, just to find out no one wants them? What is one gets sick? What if you can't afford to feed them or give them proper UV? Just because they are easy to breed doesn't mean they should be bred.

If you know you can do, have homes already lined up, and are really passionate, then go for it.
