Dubia Temperature Probe

I put a thermometer with a probe about half way down in between my egg crates and have a temp of around 90 but down in the bottom its around 110. Does that sound right or is it to hot on the plastic??

That's too hot, it really shouldn't be over 85-90. What are you using to heat them?

Using a human heating pad on high...I'll bump it down to medium. I thought 90 was perfect...

to be honest i would say its 10+ hotter on the surface. those probes are ok but the best way to get a accurate temps is with a temp gun.... surface temps around 90-95 will be perfect for them if its a tad bit higher just make sure the can climb higher or be allowed to have a cool side
