He must have rubbed his chin on something. Was wondering if it will go back to normal?

Just looks like the pigment on those scales is dark for one reason or another. Shouldn't be an issue though and I'd guess it will turn back to normal after a while. I don't see signs of damage, they just look stuck in black mode at the moment.

Thanks. It does look better today, still a little black though. Interesting how it goes black I thought maybe he scraped the scales off or something.

Damaged scales might look raw/wounded or even pinkish if bare skin was shown after being removed. They are able to change the color (or at least shade) of their skin otherwise.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
