When mine had it the vet gave them Albon. Has your bearded dragon been checked for Coccidia I would not give medication unless your bearded dragon has had a fecal test. medications are very hard on their systems. but if you have had a fecal check and your Dragon has coccidia I think you can get Albon from beautifuldragons.com make sure to get a probiotic to help your dragons digestive system the albon is hard on them!.
this article helped me a lot when my dragons had Coccidia! http://www.beardeddragon.org/articles/parasitecare/
I know this may sound wierd and wrong. But I am working in a lab and I can do a fecal check on my own beardie once I get my hands on the microscope and check for the parasite Coccidia. Of course if i find coocidia in my beardie, I will ask my colleagues to double check for me, if indeed its Coccidia. If it is, I will buy some over counter medication for it. Because recently, his poop stinks and its watery. It worries me.
Hi
I am new to the forum but I am from http://www.chameleonsnorthwest.com where you can get the Reptaid. We are the distributor of the product. There is a thread going on in the "For Sale" forum in this website, if you want to see what others are saying about the effectiveness of Reptaid. And please do go to our website for further information about fighting coccidia with Reptaid. Even if you dragon doesn't have coccidia, the Reptaid may help him, very quickly and effectively to recover from what is ailing him.
Another forum member, HowlingGaleDragons, who asked me to join this forum to assist with Reptaid, has been treating her dragon with Reptaid for a very serious respiratory infection. Read what she has to say in the thread under "for Sale". You will be amazed. If I can answer any more questions, let me know.
