Cleaning the cage

I have 4 huge dragon tanks so I know how stinky they could get.

I only use shelf liner for substrate, no sand. I place 2 layers of paper towels in the preferred poop spot. This makes it really easy to clean up immediately.

I use the dust buster to vacuum weekly. I bathe each dragon while I clean cages. I remove the shelf liner and scrub down with either OdoBan or diluted bleach and let them air dry.

I have also discovered that they will poop almost every time they get in the bath. If I do this daily, there is never any poop to clean up!

Mind you I own my own business and work 60+ hrs so it is doable. I bathe each for 15 mins a pice at night when I get home. (After I bathe the 4 yr old human child)

Hope this helps.

Nothing worse than coming in the door at night to one or several dragon stink piles at the end of the day! Ewww!
