As I do with all of my rocks/branches that I find outside:

1. Put them in the tub with hot water, and add some bleach and let them soak about an hour.
2.Rinse off log/rock until no more bleach smell.
3. preheat oven to 250 degrees, place in oven for about an hour.

You really only have to pick between steps 1-2 or step 3. I do both just to be sure. The oven is probably the safest and best way to do it because it gets the wood to a high internal temperature which kills all the nastys deep down in the wood.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
