Hello....there is a great article on this site about brumation. It can vary from dragon to dragon.

Mine was 10 months old when I noticed her starting to reject her favorite foods. Within two weeks, she wanted to sleep out of her lights and in her hide. Long story short, she slept for 3 1/2 months. I woke her every two weeks to hydrate her and weigh her. She would sleep in her tub as well.

So the answer to your question is, yes.....brumation can go on for quite some time with some dragons. Just keep an eye on Him/her to make sure there isn't anything going on health wise. Good luck and keep us posted.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
