Thank you. My husband and I are arguing over digital thermometer vs the thermometer gun. He swears the gun is more accurate. We have been setting up the vivarium with a thermostat.

IR guns are good but not as accurate - the gun can often give false temps - they cannot read off of certain basking materials - slate and hammocks
