My beardie runs from me when i try to pick it up from the cage but after that he doesnt is that bad or good?

Neither really, depends on how you move. If you are standing over the cage or making fast movements when you try to reach in then it could be scared. Try to move slowly and when you hold it make sure you have all 4 legs supported with your hand because they like to have all 4 legs on something for stability.
