bearded dragons and thunder

are bearded dragons scared of the thunder. because I just got one and we had our first thunder thunder storm. every time we heard thunder the lizard put his head up in the air. tj :?

They may have a sense of the storm but from what I've seen, sound doesn't bother them too much. As long as he's in his enclosure or you're holding him, he should feel fairly secure.

He might be reacting to the sound, or perhaps can sense a vibration from the thunder that we can't. None of my 3 are bothered by storms, and we get lots of them during the spring/summer up here.
