Do you think they like it?LLBlue":2vcipd4o said:I bathe my bearded dragon in a tray of shallow water. You should probably supervise him while he is sitting in the water. Make the water shallow - just up to his elbows. If he has anything on him, you can scrub him with a toothbrush. I have never used soap.
That seems rightLLBlue":3u5mcpvd said:Mine seems to like it. Sometimes she wants to stay in the water for a long time, and other times she doesn't. I think that baths keep them hydrated.

Yeah, sometimes beardies seem smart and other times they just are plain stupid... I think I will give it a try and seem how my Iggy Boo likes it.bunnyrut":2bhef8st said:that depends on the beardieIzabee33":2bhef8st said:Do you think they like it?LLBlue":2bhef8st said:I bathe my bearded dragon in a tray of shallow water. some will swim or just hang out, others (Mine) will try to get out like their lives depend on it.
bathing 2-3 times per week will help keep them hydrated. they get their water from eating greens and absorbing it through their vent. since they are in captivity and can't get to water sources you need to give them baths.
both of my beardies will drink the water in the bath. you need to watch them because sometimes they stick their whole face under the water to drink, and it can cause them to choke on the water.
