Bath time?

At what age should I give my beardie a bath? So far Civ is six months old and I haven't given Civ a bath yet. When did you start to give your bearded dragon a bath?

I started giving mine a bath around that age as well.Depends on the size to me if he is a small guy for his age then I won't do it but if he is then I would put him in lukewarm water that's up his knees not too high .

6mo is plenty old enough. Make sure the water is nice and warm, and make it pretty shallow. If he freaks out and really hates it, you don't have to do it on a regular basis.

Umm..Charlie is about 2 months and I have given her baths...seems to be the only way she will poop lol

Civ is this big. Do you think this is big enough?

He's big enough, it's just a matter of if they stress him out or not. They aren't worth the stress if they don't like it, but some of them settle in and relax in a bath. It varies between dragons. The water should feel warm on the inside of your wrist, no more, and the water level should be up to about his armpits. Sometimes they like having a washcloth at the bottom to give them some traction. If he doesn't settle in then I would avoid baths unless he gets stinky or soiled and needs one. You can always offer supplemental water by dripping water on his nose for him to lick up.
