Basking spot question

Is it bad to have more than one basking spot?

it depends on the size of the enclosure... if you have a large sized area for them to live in, having multiple basking spots is feasable due to the general length of the viv that'll still allow a good temperature gradient. if in a large cage you could set up two basking spots apart from one another and still keep a cool area in the middle, for example. if the cage is smaller though you will be restricted to having the two basking sites located right next to one another as you will not easily be able to provide a good cool area for them. it would all depend on the temperatures present when both lights are on, or if you're snazzy you could do one that is on in the early day and one that is on in the evening... kinda like the path of the sun!!!!
