Ants are Killing my Crickets!

I don't know what to do, I have an ant problem in my house and I have no idea how to fix this problem. I got a shipment of 1k crickets coming in on Friday and I am afraid they are gonna eat them!
What should I do?

Well one thing to do would be to keep the crickets in some sort of container that is well sealed (and still provides ventilation). Maybe use an old rubbermaid storage container (your run-of-the-mill plastic bin) and cut some holes in the top and place mesh over them. Thats what I do with my roach colonies (but that's more intended to keep them in..works both ways xD)

As for the ants...be careful with any sort of poison. If you do use poison make sure that the ants arent able to get into your dragon's tank. Poison would be no bueno.

My mom just got poison for them but she even said she isn't gonna put it down cause she doesn't want my beardie getting poisoned. I am gonna try some Vaseline on the inside and outside. Then some tea tree oil or neem oil on the outside so they aren't attracted.

You could try a setting your cricket bin alone on a big piece of sticky-side-up contact paper, so that the ants aren't able to get to it.

Lol I'll just tape a whole roll of lint roller on carboard thing. But it makes sense.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
