Could've just been a bad batch. I was joking a bit about never being able to keep them alive, but I seriously never could if I bought from pet stores. I always ordered online.

They were bought from a reptile specialists store just yesterday, all 200 or so died around the same time… and I mean all of them- not a single cricket left
If you are close to that store, pop in and see if their crix are still alive. Tell him what happened to yours, take pics and see if they might refund at least some of your money.

Hmm Im not sure. Whenever I have crickets in Hazels cage they all die within a day if she doesn't eat them and in My geckos cage they never die since he doesn't eat many crickets so I've kept them in an environment that looks like My geckos setup and it appears to be working I haven't had crickets die unless of course, they become Hazel and Phoenix's lunch! I don't know what it is, but I also have the brown ones as well.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
