He's just over 10 inches long. I think he's just over 3 months old, maybe 4 months.

Is it too early too tell?

Thanks.

You are not holding your bearded dragon properly to determine if it is male or female. Hold your dragon securely in your hand, then with your thumb and first finger gently grasp the tail towards the base of the tail and and curl it slightly towards the head so your beardies vent is exposed. while doing this, take a picture of the vent and tail area and post the pictures and then we might be able to tell you if you got a male or female.

Those are some pretty Dark Stress marks

I've seen worse on my dragons when there's nothing wrong with them. Probably was just unhappy about being held that way.

It's funny you should say that. When we picked the Beardie up from the pet shop about a month ago he had those marks, and they've never gone away, he eats 2-3 times a day, poops all the time and has just finished shedding.

I don't know what to do to get them to go away. He's in a 4foot viv, Reptisun 10 uv strip light, 100w bulb where he basks, the temps are around 38-40 degrees.

I've noticed that babies tend to have that. I have a juvenile that I've had for a month today and there's maybe an hour out of the day that her belly is entirely white. It doesn't always mean that they're stressed. It could be that they're cold, it's the morning, it's the afternoon, "I don't like baths" (HH's main complaint to me), "Stop staring at me" (HH's second complaint to me).

If you've checked your temperatures with a thermometer probe temp gun, and they're accurate, it might just be normal. You could even bump up temps to 105-110F (40.5- 43.3C) and see if he likes the heat more.

Have you been changing things in or around his tank? The little suckers really hate any kind of change.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
