Doodles went for a romp around the living room today, I snapped a few pictures while Lydia wasn't trying to get in my way. Such spoiled & silly babies....

My geckos are actually weirdos, and won't eat mealworms the only things I've successfully gotten them to eat are wax worms & phoenix worms.

I think Doodles is definitely waking up, she's pooed twice in the past 3 days, which is a lot for her, but she's been active & basking a lot more I have some new pictures of her, hopefully they'll show up since I'm posting them from my phone...

Thanks so much!! She's been such a bundle of energy for the past few days! I swear she was brumating for so long I thought she might never be her spunky self again. She definitely has a very goofy personality, she's like my own little 3-ring circus lately! :lol:

I just wanted to share this picture of Doodles from this morning It's very cold here today, and she climbed all the way up to the top of her basking log & puffed herself out to warm up. She never climbs that high, I think her tail is keeping her from falling down, lol :lol:

OHMYGOODNESS Doodles is a crazy lizard. :shock: She has just so much energy lately and is always dying to get out of her tank, I feel like she's going to hurt herself or something if I don't let her out! I've started letting her roam freely around my beardie-proofed bedroom for a few hours at a time when I'm at home, so she can stretch her legs. She loves climbing all over my bed and my laundry basket, and I usually find her taking naps in my clothes. :lol: I really want to get her a larger enclosure, so she has more room to run around in while I'm at work. There's actually an old desk at my work that I want to bring home and convert, because it would be absolutely PERFECT and we haven't used it in years. I just have to convince my boss to let me have it...I have a week off of work coming up too so that would be perfect time to work on it
Butters & Toast are both doing pretty well. Toast is still incredibly shy, and I rarely see her, but she's just about doubled in size since I got her, so I know she's eating and doing alright. Butters is a little more adventurous, she's still a bit nervous but I see her every morning and every evening hangin' out in front of her warm hide, I like to think she waits for me to either wake up or get home to say hello before crawling off to sleep. She's doubled in size as well, but she's still bigger than Toast. I notice that Butters sheds about once a week, and I'm guessing Toast does the same but since I only really see her when I clean her tank it's hard to tell. Neither of them have any retained shed bits though so I'm not worried They're very picky eaters though, it's hard to tell what they like...I've offered them everything: crickets, mealworms, phoenix worms, and wax worms. They ignored crickets and mealworms, picked at phoenix worms, and sorta munch on wax worms. I don't want to feed them just wax worms because they're so fatty, but I'm worried that if I force just the phoenix worms on them they won't eat...

YAAY on Doodles being awake! You're one of the few lucky ones on here who's baby is now awake.

Lol it's always funny reading your posts on your geckos because mine are the same. One shy, one more adventurous. One always missing one always out. Have you tried baby dubias? Mine ate some yesterday and seemed to like them. Also did you start your colony?! My little Eve (who I'm starting to think is a boy) lost 3 toes! You're lucky your guys don't have shed issues, I'm jelly lol

I haven't disappeared forever!! I have been so incredibly busy with work & moving my ex out of my place that I haven't had a lot of time to post new stuff! Also my computer broke, and uploading pics from my phone is a pain. Here's a little update on my creatures!

Doodles is going through a full-body shed and is super grumpy!! She sounds so crunchy whenever she moves, and destroys her tank decorations every day when she rubs on them. She's officially become the pickiest beardie ever when it comes to food. She'll only eat superworms, collard/mustard greens & acorn squash. Everything else just sits in her dish all day. But she's doing great, hopefully I'll be able to get some new pics up soon.

Butters is doing really well, she's about quadrupled her size since I got her. She sheds about every other week, it's crazy! Still no shedding problems, she's got all her little toes. She's muh easier to handle now, I can pick her up with no problems & she likes to explore my bed & climb all over me

I'm still a little worried about Toast. She isn't growing nearly as fast as Butters, an she barely eats. I've talked to a few Leo breeders & owners I trust, and they say I shouldn't be too worried because she's not actually losing weight. They've given me a few suggestions for hand feeding & non-live food options. Hopefully she is just a late bloomer & will be catching up to Butters soon.

Bandits been a brat on food too but she actually went down for brumation.

Is Bandit up again or is she still a sleepy dragon?? I was so glad that Doodles didn't decide to go back down, the weather here has been insane. We didn't really get a real winter until February started hahaha. Anyway, I have new pics of the crew!!

Bandit is down for 3 days now lol I hate it. But I lucked out today because I didn't turn her lights on today and I wasn't home but she didn't even wake up. :roll:

I'm pretty vain and take like 50%pics of me and then the rest of bandit on Instagram lol but if I figure out how it works, ill add you! I haven't added people on that yet haha
