I love the bed you made for Fiz! This thread is so full of cuteness. The pics of Fix eating the carrots are just precious. I love reading about beardie adventures, especially when they are full of love and humor.

Okay, first up is my beardie, Fiz!

Here's a picture of Fiz, displaying a sexy leg! He was really happy the day of the picture, showing the brightest colors!

Here's the underside of his tail, just after his vent. My senses say boy. Agree or Disagree?

Boy or Girl? Male or Female? Guy or Gal?

I'm anxious to hear if Fiz is a boy or a girl!!!

Once we conclude with the Fiz session, I'll upload pics of KD so we can decide his gender!

I think you are correct and Fiz is a boy! I can see two faint bumps in the first pic.

Yes the second one isn't the best. You can see the two bumps in the second. I'm getting excited, because I was hoping he was a boy. It would be hard to picture Fiz as a girl, since I've been calling him a boy since the day I saw him in the pet store. It was 2 days before I could buy him, and I saw him in the tank and was like "OH MY GOSH I WANT HIM!" and even before he was mine I called him a boy!

But there is always that slight possibility that he could be a girl... since my crappy pictures :wink:

KD black-bearded today for the first time. I had him on the floor in my room to let him run around and get his energy out, and he was heading for the door so I got up to go shut it and he froze, puffed out his beard and belly, and then his beard turned a really deep black. It freaked me out, and he looked like he was going to bite my hand off or something. I used his blanket and picked him up and he calmed down and I put him back in his tank. I just discovered they both like applesauce

I've said this before, I love looking at pics of people's beardies. The captions always make me laugh, too. I love to see what people make for them and how they have their vivs set up. The bed you made for Fiz is over-the-top EPIC.

And thanks! Fiz likes to be tucked in at night so I made him a bed. I'm glad you like it! My viv will eventually be epic. When Fiz reaches his full size I'm going to buy all kinds of stuff. It would be silly to buy rocks now if it turns out that tiny Fiz outgrows it!

I feel the same about the furniture. I want them to have some, but I don't want it outgrown. (Then again if they outgrow it then that means I can get another baby so I can re-use what I bought, right...? )

I'm really interested in DIY projects and I want to learn how to make all my own beardie decorations and furniture. I just don't know where to get started yet - guess I just need to keep doing my research until something jumps out at me!

Hahaha.

That's why my boys' tank is pretty bland right now. There's only a suction-cup ramp, a small basking platform/cave, and their food and water dishes in there. I have a feeling Fiz may surprise me and grow up to be this huge boy, but yet again he's always been small so he may just be my little boy forever.

Oh! I am going to make my own DIY rocks too! But, again, not until he reaches his full length. There's no telling how big he's going to get, so how would I know what size to make my DIY rock? It would be pointless to spend all this time creating and detailing a rock and then finding out two months down the road that your boy has outgrown it, right? :wink: I'm going to even try to create my own DIY rock background, complete with ledges and everything! Of course I'll make a few smaller DIY rocks before I take on that big project.

I feel the same way about not knowing where to start. I have no idea what to make and how big to make it. I understand the whole process of cutting, grouting a bunch of times, and then covering in a sealant, but the whole idea to make one is still unclear.

I plan on making my rocks this summer when it's warm!
