When beardies grow to adult, you can start giving somewhat less insects and some more fresh veggies. What I do is feed 4 days a week only veggies and feed 3 days a week all the live food he can and will eat. Concerning supplements: I have two vitamin supplements which are to be given 2 times per week one mix, 4 times per week the other mix and 1 day no supplements. At this moment, my schedule is:
Mo-Tu: veggies with vits
We: veggies with vits in the morning, live food with vits as much as he wants to ánd can eat in 5 minutes in the afternoon (basically about 4 dubias and some butterworms)
Th-Fr: veggies
Sa-Su: both days a small bowl of veggies with vits and 2 times a day all live food he wants to and can eat in 5 minutes.
I have dubias as staple and try to add variety with locusts, large crickets, butterworms, wax worms (only as a treat), silk worms and super worms.
The reason for so much veggies is that beardies can develop fatty liver disease when they eat only live food and they never obtain all vitamins and minerals they need when they don't eat veggies.
