Alex is working on the calendar now and he said the "preview" of the pages will be posted sometime this month, probably within the next 2 weeks. I've updated the main post of the "available" topic, but wanted to also reply here to make sure the message gets out.

If you order a calendar, PLEASE use the links posted on the "available" topic (or on the home page of the website). I've discovered that CafePress has sent emails to prior customers to come get items directly through them. If orders are placed by going to CafePress, rather than through the direct links to the Beardie Stuff Store, CafePress so kindly decides to keep 60% of the profit.

Yeah. I think it's fine for sales that they truly generate through their own market place, but I am not so happy with them "stealing sales" by directly marketing to people who are active members and would normally have gone through the links I provided, if they weren't contacted by CafePress directly. To you guys, it's all the same cost (technically, they charge $0.01 more), but in the end, they take 60% of what normally would go to the Beardie Stuff Store account.

VERY thoughtful of them. *sigh* No wonder they've been losing a ton of their store owners. They've made a number of changes that have boosted their profits by effectively taking it from the store owners. In some ways, it isn't as bad (such as changing the payment structure for sales made through THEIR side of the site). But other changes are also annoying. They determine pricing of products on their side. In September, they were selling calendars at $15. That undercuts what I could POSSIBLY sell them at, because the base price (effectively my "cost") is $15! I guess they were trying to stir up calendar interest or something. I half tempted to just turn off allowing any of the Beardie Stuff Store items to show on their "Marketplace". But I'll have to review the reports to see if they generate significant revenue or not, versus what I think they may be taking away from direct sales. I may also need to start reviewing alternative providers that treat stores better than CafePress has been doing lately.

I have another question. I had a cafepress coupon code. When I used that code, did that take away any money from your profit, or did it come from cafepress profits?

I believe coupons only take from CafePress's margins. I think they apply it as part of "payment".

If you find out that they come out of your profit, let me know, and I will make a donation directly to the site in the amt that I saved. I had gotten to wondering after I ordered it if it would take any of your profit or not.
(and by the way, got my calendars last week, they look great, all 3 of my boys look great)

I just double checked how your order shows in the reports. It does not show anything about coupons on my end, so it looks like coupons have no effect for me.

Hi! I did order them, I thought I had done it through your link originally but when I placed the order I may have done it thru the favorites I saved it on which my have been cafepress.com website. Sorry if I screwed up any profit for you but still cant wait to see it

Yup! Looks like your order went through with the Beardie Stuff Store links. So, all is good. Even if you go to a bookmarked link to the Beardie Stuff Store, that's fine. The main thing is that you see the Beardie Stuff Store banner at the top when adding it to your shopping cart (the one that looks similar to the banner at the top of the main website).
