The fat cat and the bold dragon

The end of the battle between the cat and the dragon. I have a 2 year old, 25 pound cat Bubbies who has a whole lot of attitude and does not except other animals on her turf. I have seen her attack everything from a full grown Husky to a male barn cat, and she has always won. So no surprise that...

Getting my beardie to drink water

Yes, and he always eats them. What concerns me most is that for the last month or so he won’t drink any water when I bath him, and his skin is a little wrinkled and I heard that could mean he is dehydrated. I’m just worried he isn't getting enough water. -Sadie

    HELP! PARASITES

I’m not 100% sure if all the crickets would be infected but when my beardie Grievous had parasites the medication cost me $80 so I would suggest getting rid of the crickets because although they are expensive it’s certainly better than having to purchase medication. Better safe than sorry. I...

    Calcium and vitamins....

My vet says that it is best to give the vitamin D3 only once a week, not twice. Other than that the advice already posted is exactly what my vet suggests.

    Hornworms Question

Keep trying other insects because your beardie may just be going through a picky faze. My beardie Grievous went through a 3 month period where he refused to eat anything but crickets but eventually it passed and he is back to eating a variety of foods again. Hope this helps, Sadie

Getting my beardie to drink water

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get your beardie to drink more water. I have only seen Grievous drink from his water dish once, and sometimes he will drink when I bath him. I mist him everyday and bath him about every other day. Any suggestions on how to make sure Grievous...

    Cut/gouge on beardies head.

It seems like she was attacked by the other beardie and therefore should probably be kept separate. Bearded Dragons can do a lot of damage to one another if they are not getting along.

    Not eating... getting desperate!

You should ask your vet for a fecal container you can bring home with you so you can bring it in to be tested. It is best to do this sooner rather than later because the tests can take some time and if it is a parasite it can be very easy to treat if you catch it early on. Also, how long is your...

HELP! My Beardie ate a Ladybug! Is it toxic?

Your beardie should be perfectly fine. Ladybugs are not poisonous, my cat has eaten plenty. Just watch to make sure he is still pooping to ensure there is not impaction and you will be fine. Hope this helps.

Left side of belly hard... What could it be?? Help?

I would take her to the vet ASAP. It's really best not to guess with things like this. If it is something more serious than impaction it's important that you find out right away so that you have a better chance of treating. My vet says impaction is impossible if the lizard is still pooping so I...
