My female is showing "male" behaviors!!!

Izzy is not an aggressive male by any means...he's kind of a mamma's boy! The night she grabbed him, he came right to me crawled up on my chest and nuzzled in for safety. Hmmmmm...interesting, I wonder if she will ever be willing to breed? If not that's okay...well just see what happens I...

OMG last weekend we introduced Bella to Izzy for the first time [please keep in mind we got her to breed w/him]. Introductions...

How funny that you asked this question...I signed on to ask the very same thing! My male and female are housed in their own tank next to each other...He seems very interested in her, and she responds by licking the glass when I home him up to the tank. I finally got over my fear and introduced...

    ? about harvesting roaches

Fresh out of nuts here...LOL Ewwwww...one touched me the other day and I dropped the egg crate...I do have the long tweezers and I try to pick them up with those...the are fast little buggers! I will keep at it and who knows, before long maybe I will actually touch one

Raising my own feeders Roaches and Silkworms

I agree with the above...I started a roach colony several months back. They creep me out, too...not a fan of touching them or them touching me. They are good breeders if the temps and humidity are right. Mine as of late have been having babies like crazy. Once you get the setup...it's really easy

    ? about harvesting roaches

Anyone have any good ideas on how to retrieve the roaches without touching them? Tweezers don't seem to work well! Oh and how does one go about separating sizes or do I leave them all together?
