Does this appear to be scale or mouth rot? I have an appointment scheduled and waiting on an email from his doctor in the interim.

Please offer advice about my beardies mouth. I have a vet appointment scheduled and waiting on an email from his doctor with advice until the appointment, but can’t hurt to ask here too. My babe’s mouth just started looking like this. There’s bits of white, but I think that’s just from the...

    Tips/recommendations for inside tank lighting?

Hi everyone! We have two bearded dragons and for the longest time, especially for our older dragon, we’ve been using an Arcadia UVB and a 100 W basking bulb on top of the mesh of the viv. Our older bearded dragon is now in a 4 x 2 x 2, and I’m interested in putting a basking light inside of...

Beardie babe are HUGE hornworm. Is this ok??

Afternoon! Mr. McClane ate a 1.5 to 2 inch long horn worm today. I actually had him out of his enclosure and I wanted to give him one, but since they are so big, I was going to cut it up. But I dropped it from the tweezers, and he snagged it super fast. He’s really crazy about hornworms. I’m...

    Can I put a 100w bulb inside 4x2x2?

Good morning! I’m currently in the process of setting up our new 4x2x2 Zen Habitat. I’m having some slight issues with temperature though. I currently have a 100w basking bulb on top of the mesh, a 60w CHE on top of the mesh (sitting close to the basking) and an Arcadia 12% HO mounted inside...

How often do your subadults eat?

Thank you! He is finally free of coccidia, but he’s on a weekly dose of two different other medications for another 4 weeks 😞 I’m hoping it doesn’t last too long. If he’s uninterested in greens, do you think I should allow daily insects while he’s recovering so that he’s at least eating something?

How often do your subadults eat?

Ours is just over 12 months old. He’s been sick with parasites (being treated). We just adopted him a few weeks ago and his appetite seems to come in waves. I know some of it is due to the parasites he came home with, but now that’s he’s been on treatments for them I’m wondering if his eating...

Wanting to ensure my girls 40g temps are okay. Advice?

Thanks! I’m so overwhelmed sometimes because I get different info. The reptile breeder/store I went into yesterday is the one that suggested the heat mat 🤦🏻‍♀️ but if it’s dangerous I definitely want to remove it. For the basking rock, if I raise the platform a few inches, that will get her...

Wanting to ensure my girls 40g temps are okay. Advice?

I’ve been posting now for close to a week. Scarlett has another appointment tomorrow for another check up regarding her parasites. It’s day 3 of not really being interested in food at all. No interest in greens in 2 days and no interest in insects started yesterday. I went into a local...

    Update on Scarlett and poop/parasites

Hi all! I posted a few days ago, but after a second dose of ponizural and some purée pumpkin and a bath (on advice from my vet), our girl finally pooped. It’s still not totally solid and it’s smaller than I’d think for not having pooped in a week. There also appears to be some blood! It’s...

Scarlett is positive for parasites, acting incredibly lethargic and won’t eat/poop.

Thanks! I messaged her not too long ago :) I really appreciate everyone’s help

Scarlett is positive for parasites, acting incredibly lethargic and won’t eat/poop.

Sounds good! I might see if there’s somewhere I can get it shipped to me fast. Yesterday, she picked at her greens and ate them if I hand fed. Today, she was not interested in her greens AT ALL. She did take two dubias rather fast, but those were my last two dubias until tomorrow. I do have...

Scarlett is positive for parasites, acting incredibly lethargic and won’t eat/poop.

I’m actually looking online now at places I can get a good disinfectant locally tomorrow. As for the meds, her vet said that’s all she needed to treat her. I trusted her word on it. Should I make a call back up and request something else as well? I have to say, she’s been difficult giving...

Thanks! Do you have a suggested cleaner? And she’s on Ponazuril 0.6. Ml every 48 hours for 3 doses. I’ll attach a pic of the bottle for full clarity. The pic has her name from before we discovered she was a she lol

Beardie basking all day, very lethargic, not eating much.

Sure thing! I’ll attach it here. The highest point on her basking spot is about 8 inches from the top. And I’m using a probe that’s actually sitting right at her basking spot in the inside. Temp reader is on the outside. I can definitely tell her beard is darker, but only slightly.

Thank you! I figured she was going through some relocation issues too. I will attach my screen pics here also. The tube Uvb is placed on the same side as basking in the back.

Hi all, My beardie is 12 months. We’ve had her for just over a week. She had runny diarrhea yesterday morning, so I took her to the vet. First, I found out she’s a she (we were told male when we adopted haha). But turns out she has a higher than normal level of pinworms, giardia and coccidia...
