they look like an ordinary florecent light tubes the only thing to rember is that is is a repti sun 10. and needs to be as long as your viv you will have to also buy as starter unit for it unless you already have one

if i have to take mine out to keep them warm i use heat pads that we use for putting on bad backs and the like they stay warm for a long while just make sure that its not touching him wrap it in a towel
