    How you named your dragon

Ours were named after characters from Borderlands. Hence Marley and Moe. Luckily Moe can be used for a girl or boy... As it turned out the good folks on here helped us realise Moe was infact female instead of the male we'd been told she was from the start  Seems so long ago now.

    RIP Marley Moo

Been away for so long but the help and advice I got from here in the beginning with Marley and Moe was tremendous. We sadly lost Marley during the night :'( So hard looking at her empty viv now but doubt we'll get another one to replace her while we've still got Moe. Sweet dreams Princess...

Can 2 Female Bearded dragons meet?

My two girlies lived together as babies (before they came to us I might add), the result of the arrangement was Marley missing 2 toes and most of her tail when Moe got peckish/aggressive. Needless to say they've been living apart ever since. On the few occasions they have met.. Moe usually ends...

    Beardie Attack!!

My two were together when they were babies... they got separated by their previous owner after Moe (the bigger one) did this to Marley (the smaller one)... You can't see she's also lost another toe on the other back foot too in the same attack! Please please listen to what everyone else is...

    dubias

Time is definitely your best friend! I won't lie... it will take a few months to get a self-sustaining colony going but its worth the wait IMO. The less you disturb them the faster they will breed once they get to adult size. They need a source of protein aswell so dry dog/cat biscuits are...

beardie tries to climb rocks on the background

Moe used to do this a lot with her new background.. I've posted a video on here of her doing it (although it was back when i thought she was male). Can say that she has finally stopped doing it now! It took a good few weeks but the novelty does wear off ;) Edit: Link to old thread and video...

Retained shed gone and nasty cracks left on new skin :(

A happy update - sprayed her yesterday morning, then shower/bathed at dinner time, then sprayed again last night. I absolutely plastered her in Aloe gel at bed time and come to shower/bath time today and a huge piece of the retained shed had lifted away and come off in the bath with a little...

    Dubia Roaches Questions Please Help

Mine seem to eat for england! Im using the lid off a food tub the locusts get delivered in with cat biscuits and tropical fish flakes in. An inch might be a bit big for them to climb up... maybe a jam jar lid or something low like that would be worth a try ;) Fingers crossed :D

    Live Staples in the UK

I hate hate hate crickets with a passion, noisy smelly evil things they are! We can get Dubia roaches here now. You can start your own colony if you're able to and they are one of the best staple feeders going. You babies will be able to eat the nymph roaches with no problems i think (someone...

    Viv Setup/Proper Feeding 4 optimal growth/health

When you do give the a bath only have it as deep as their armpits i believe, and as mentioned previously keep a very close eye on them. Enjoy your new baby and this place is imo the best for advice (yes i keep saying it but its true :P)

Retained shed gone and nasty cracks left on new skin :(

Yes the dark patches are still to come off.. i've had one lot come off her back and head a few weeks ago but it hardly made a difference. I wish you could have seen what came off her head the start of this week.. it was like a skull cap it was that thick :( The Aloe should be here either this...
