It's awesome Lola has so many supporters! She did throw up again today. They think there may be an obstruction. So we are having xrays done. I'll be visiting her tonight so I'll post an update tonight.

The xray showed no obstruction, oh I didn't think about taking a pic, maybe they could give me a copy.. They did however see that her stomach was balloon like, filled with fluid that wasn't really going anywhere.They are started her on medicine to jumpstart her digestive system because they think it is paralyzed or has very little motion to it. If that doesn't work they will think about doing surgery but It's very hard to jumpstart a paralyzed system and if they can't fix it they will put her to sleep during the surgery. She still looks super weak. But her black beard is nearly gone. I really hope they start to see her digestive system start to kick in.

Oh, no...I sure hope she gets through this ! After her seeming progress. Maybe her stomach just needs some time to recuperate after all the charcoal, vomiting, etc ? She did have a small b.m , so that's not paralyzed ? It seemed as if things were working out, just wondering what would happen if they waited a little longer ? Just throwing that out there, not to add any more stress to your tough decisions, really, your'e doing great so far.

Hopefully the medicine they gave her will help with the bloated stomach and will help get things moving. Poor girl, she has been through so much. Perhaps there will be more improvement in the next few days so that she doesn't have to go through surgery or anything else. We're ALL pulling for her, hopefully she'll feel our strength and it will help her.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I have been feeling a little down. When she pooped a couple days ago it was just urate. They started her on something to jumpstart her digestive system but so far she has not responded to treatment. They said it may take 2-3 days but I just feel like they have almost given up on her. She has an ultrasound tomorrow to ensure there is no obstruction. She looks so sad, I massaged her belly to try and help get things moving for about an hour. The vet didn't even come in to talk with us tonight, but they did seem busy. ugh..I will post an update tomorrow morning, hopefully things turn around.

I am so sorry she isn't responding as they would like, but that's no reason to give up on her yet. I am still holding hope she's going to make it, she's made it this far. <3
