How was the vet visit?

It's not til tomorrow, but she is the first patient of the day, at 8:15 am! So I will definitely post when I get back from it.

She seems a little better. She was moving around more and rested her chin on the glass so she could hold her head up and watch me. She looks around more and lifts her head to keep an eye on things. Still sinks back down slowly, but she's attempting it more. She was pretty pissy when I tried syringe feeding her earlier. Blackbearded me and the whole nine. LOL But I think I got at least 1 mL in. She ate some collards this morning and I saw her go to her water dish earlier, so i think she drank a little more than what I syringed to her. I've been doing water and cc cuz she really needs water more than baby food right now.

Hopefully the vet can give me more help tomorrow.

atleast shes eatting on her own. do you mist her salad? that would be another way for her to get water

A little bit, but I set it where she doesn't have to go far to get to it, which is under the heat lamp and so it dries out fast anyway.

Ok, so Dr. Schrock (LOVE HIM!) gave Chyna some Panacur and sent me home with liquid calcium to give her every day. He said there doesn't look like anything is wrong with her other than she's malnurished, so there's no "medicine" to make her better, just basic intense care.

So the second Panacur in two weeks, protein, liquid calcium, critical care. Pretty much what i was doing. And she weighs 210 grams.

Here's the kicker...

:shock: :shock: :shock: CHYNA IS ACTUALLY A BOY!!!!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

Which makes sense why "she" wouldn't let that kid's male mate with "her". LOL

Now to think of a name for her, I mean him... :dontknow:

OMG! Chyna is a boy! Too funny!! I'm so glad the vet visit went well. Did he do a fecal?

No, he was so stressed and since he doesn't poop much anyway, Dr. Schrock didn't want to do one til he's better. So he did the Panacur as a precaution cuz he most likely has some sort of parasite.

LOL, yeah... Now just trying to figure out what the new name should be. I have a few picked out...

And if I sit here long enough, I can think of lots more, I'm sure. LOL

Glad he's on the mend Bowser definately gets my vote aswell! The poor things probably traumatised by the 'suitors' amorous advances :lol:
