beardie tries to climb rocks on the background

he runs at the wall of his tank, then stands on his hind legs "hugging" the wall trying to climb the rocks and sticks on his background. i hope the little guy doesnt hurt himself. it is a riot to watch tho. i put the background up cause he was freaking out trying to kill his reflection, and now i have this problem.

mine does the same thing, or he will jump from his log and smack the back of the tank with the wall paper of rocks on it.

Mine also used to do that for a while after I put in the backgrounds, but after a while they settle down. One of mine used to try and worm himself into the "caves" in between the rocks... Once in a while, if he hasn't been outside his viv for a while, he will stand up straight against the background.

Moe used to do this a lot with her new background.. I've posted a video on here of her doing it (although it was back when i thought she was male).

Can say that she has finally stopped doing it now! It took a good few weeks but the novelty does wear off

My Athena likes to climb on the exo terra background. She will climb it to get at a cricket or even to hang out. Don't know if she will be able to do that as she gets bigger. She is now 7 weeks and 12". :shock:
