Ground walnut shells?

Hi! My beardie has been on walnut shells since mid march. The guy at the repticon said it was a good substrate with no impaction risk. Recently, I have heard otherwise. Is it an okay substrate, or should I swap out to slate tile?

Get rid of it asap! Not only it it terrible for impaction but the sharp edges can slice up the intestines if swallowed.
Use newspaper or paper towels until you can get tile.
