It's a 55 gallon tank the bulb is now a reptisun and his basking area is bout 105. He always sits at the bottom. Why is that?

Thanks. I used to have a Zilla UVB but got reptisun today. He was outside earlier soaking up the sun lol mi want to get something a little shorter for his basking spot since he's gotten bigger you're right it may be too close. I'm actually looking into getting him a 75 gallon tank and getting another beardie lol

I really like cork bark, its really light weight but the texture is great for them to climb on. Pepper can go up and down it at almost a 90deg angle. I also use branches (at least as wide around as the dragon is), slabs of rock and various other things. The important part is that it be easy enough for them to climb up and comfortable for the dragon to perch on. Personally I like solid things that hold heat better, vs hammocks and such.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
