while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

I knew I was living with beardies when I put my jeans on one morning, shook my leg to shake out the (what I thought was) a sock, and out ran a massive roach. And I didn't freak out.

Also, you sit on the sofa watching tv desperately wanting to lay back and get comfy, but there's a dragon asleep on your back and you don't want to disturb him/her.

We're actually moving house this weekend and I've really related to the 'can't move here'/'where will the viv's go' threads, but also; the most stressful thing about the entire move is worrying that Albi and Mooli will (a) get very stressed with the whole move and being somewhere new and (b) will be kept awake at night now that they won't have their own room anymore and will have to share the living room with us! We had a very grumpy Albi over Christmas when we had people round and obviously made enough noise to keep him awake the previous night!
