I understand. I've had my Yoshi for 6 months, and losing him would kill me. We get it But he sounded so funny and personable....
I'm sorry he had to go through that. Over the Rainbow Bridge, he's happily munching on crickets, horns, and roaches, waiting until you meet up again.
I'm going to go find a corner and cry now.

Oh my goodness Joanne I have been so busy but I had a dream about Yoshi last night and I wanted to come in and check on him today. In my dream he was doing so well. Im so bummed to come on here and read that he passed away. I'm truly very sorry! You were so awesome with him....he was so lucky to have you taking care of him!

I'm still sad too Joanne...everytime I come back here, I cry when I read the posts too. Yoshi left another beardie footprint on my heart. Such a sweet little face... :love5: I can't tell you how long it took me to stop looking over at Spikes tank to see what she was "up to" after she died. I don't think I ever did, that's why we had to get Dino. I hope your heart feels a little better and a little lighter with each day that passes...

Sue, he did have a sweet face, didn't he? Sometimes I think he looked more angry but I love him either way. I wish I could have a second chance with him.. I find myself thinking about him a lot. If I hear a certain song, I'd think: "last time I heard this song.. Yoshi was still alive" or if I find a receipt, "Yoshi was alive when I ate at this restaurant..". Don't know why I'm thinking like that. I do feel better though.. I'm glad I got a chance to take care of him and discover my love for beardies. I never thought I'd be obsessed over a lizard! I'm hoping once I get a job and when I'm ready, I'll have another chance at taking care of one

I find myself thinking about him a lot. If I hear a certain song, I'd think: "last time I heard this song.. Yoshi was still alive" or if I find a receipt, "Yoshi was alive when I ate at this restaurant..". Don't know why I'm thinking like that.

It's okay. I thought like that about my grandpa after he died in May. Still do. (My mom hasn't changed her contact in her phone from both of my grandparents to just my grandmother. She still has a picture of them both on there. I cry every time I see it.)

Sorry, I can't see your picture. He actually came with the name. My neighbors moved to Spain for a year and needed to find homes for all of there animals. I got Yoshi. (His tankmate was called Luigi.) *I'm so glad i got him out of there* They didn't care for him very well. Heavy pinworms, cohabitation, and rabbit pellets, oh my! (I got rid of the pellets- even though they were fine for him, they could have only worsened the pinworms, and they smelled.

The picture was of a green dinosaur character by Nintendo and my brother named my Yoshi after him lol. Judging from the fact that his tankmate was Luigi, I'm assuming yours is too =)
That sounds horrible! Thank you so much for saving him!! He must be SO much happier with you :love5: Do you how Luigi is doing and if he went to a good home? I sure hope so!
