I finally found a local store that sells Black Soldier Fly but my dragon wont eat them. From what Ive read, it seems like most dragons love them. Is there a reason why he wouldnt be interested in them? Any tips?

Never had them before would be my guess! They are creatures of habit, change doesn't come easy for them.

Could be, I threw in a couple of crickets to see if he just didnt have an appetite. He chased the crickets and missed grabbing a larva. He ate it and went to bask. I also noticed the black larvae seem a bit though and hard.

mine is the same. He will eat mealworms, horn worms, super worms, wax worms but not phoenix worms. I dont understand either. is it safe to only offer them for a while? i dont really want him to starve but i guess he should eat them when he gets hungry right?

I gave up on the worms haha. Started feeding him small dubia roaches. He eats those like crazy. I think he started growing faster than when he was eating crickets too.
