The breeder I got my guy from (midnightdragonz.com) is working on a white line and there are other breeders as well. I have seen them marketed as white, polar, tundra, snow or marketed leucistic. Be vary careful buying anything sold Asa true "leucistic" if you are actually after the mutation, I don't think at this time there is a viable line.

Certainly go with a breeder, your more likely to find a healthy dragon of the color you like that way. Some breeders will also show photos of the parents so you can sort of get an idea what the dragon will look like when it grows up.

As for true leucism it's a mutation (sort of like albino) and just as a buyer beware to know what you are looking for. Not all sellers are fully honest.

I just can't find any breeders selling baby beardies. Most of them are only selling mature beardies and a lot of babies are on hold or sold out. Idk.

I've never heard anything negative about them, if you'd like do some extra research I know I'm going to now that you asked.

Some of the larger sites like that are resellers or drop shippers (work with breeders and the animals ship straight from the breeder). Not sure about big apple specifically. Faunaclassified has a forum for folks to post reviews/complaints against breeders - it's worth checking out as your looking.

Maybe contact some of the breeders who are sold out or holding babies to find out when they expect to have the next clutch available?

I couldn't find reviews but a friend of mine that used to breed them bought his male and female from big Apple. He says they're legit, and he's a trustworthy person when it comes to this stuff.
Anyway, the good news is I placed an order for a Leucistic X Green Polar Translucent. They're supposed to be 6.5-9 inches which is perfect. $130 isn't bad at all!

I found the videos from Big Apple very useful. Also looking at reviews I didn't see anything bad about their animals however a lot of people complained about their product department.

This may be too little too late, but there is a BEAUTIFUL white hypo adult dragon on Fauna classifieds bearded dragon section posted under for sale/trade by marius 47 from Texas. The pic says it all. I saw the babies on Big Apple's picture, they are very pretty....hopefully they will stay nice + light. Sometimes they start out nice but will end up more of a grey color with a few other pastel tints.

@AHBD - My order isn't confirmed until they let me know if the one I ordered is available. Hopefully one is because theyre just as cute as the white ones IMO. I definitely appreciate the information, and I'll definitely check them out to see if they sway my decision making lol

Surprisingly none of the reptile websites advertised in Reptiles Magazine sell lueistic dragons.

Seriously? Well that sucks. Just my luck though. Luckily I like all bearded dragons. Of course people want what they want, and you get what you pay for. I just wanted something a little more rare.
