which feeders r best

besides crickets and silk worms which r the best feeder insects... wat r ur thoughts on phoenix worms... i know wax worms r too fatty and meal worms rnt good....

Superworms, hornworms, phoenix worms,butterworms, and roaches are all suitable staples other than silkies and crickets.

Mealies are too high fat and have poor meat to shell, so treat only

waxies are too hich fat so treat only.

The best feeder by far (and I'm sure that many will attest to this) are roaches. Without even gutloading them they are high in protein and low in fat. Crix and mealies aren't even in the same ballpark. Plus Crix and Mealies are messy... Anyway who wants a mess inside their house?! Don't think of them as "roaches"... Think of them as Quarter Pounders w/ legs... Your Lizard will be sure to thank you. I've always used worms for fishing... But than again that's just me. :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
