Where is the strangest place you've ever taken your beardie?

lol out of all the places i've taken MJ to... I've never taken her to Petsmart... so while doing emergency crix run while waiting for my crix shipment... i decided to take my MJ. Same as usual.. she was calm..until she saw the lady getting crix. Boy she went BALISTIC !!!! it was cute.. lol.

I am amazed and impressed. Don't stores tell you you can't have pets cause they are afraid of bugs or something?

We took Ariana with us last night to a farm and home store and had no problems then to the card store and then to two pet stores, she had a blast, all the while my hubby was paranoid I was going to get kicked out. LOL

I still get scared I might walk in somewhere and get kicked out. But she's hid in my purse a few times.. hehe. But when shes on my shoulder.. and Im out wit the fam... THEY get paranoid lol. But hey think of it this way.. if you get kicked out frm somewhere... its not like theyre gonna remember you again !!! Or just walk in and say in your mind.... "me n my beardie are invisible" and repeat 3 times. lol

Took Puff fishing yesterday. We have sevral ponds here at my house. Hubby cracked a joke about "lizzard being the bate" (i smacked him on the arm). A lady came by with hur puppy and saw puff. I was wateing for the screem but she was like OH how cute! Puff got some sun and we are going back out today for more sun and OH ya fish too.

... since I'm Asian... the jokes I get is " You're having lizard on a stick tonight?" or "Do you eat it with rice and soy sauce?"
Oh the list goes on..... and on... and on...

Yah, my mother in law is afraid of Scorch and makes jokes about the BBQ. I tell her there is more meat on her pomeranian so we would eat him first. lol

my dragons take turns to go to petsmart, autozone, home depot, walks esp. if its 90*+ they sit on my head with their harness on (i never take them outside without one on) and they bask on my head or shoulders. the dragons even come to visit me at work at dunkin donuts for my break. opeth loves the car rides he'll sit on the back seat in the sun stretched out and if he go through a shadey place he gives us a dirty look before sleeping again. lady loved looking out the window and hated being in her carrier so she would sit in my lap or shoulder and look out the windows.

The mall. I took Elvis there to get his picture taken with santa. But ofcourse santa wasnt there. And ofcourse I ran into my friend and her mom, who sure gave me funny looks when I was explaining how I want to get my lizards pic taken with santa.
and people were staring at us when I was in the food court giving my lizard some lettuce and carrots outa my salad (as a treat, the lettuce)
people kept asking me if he was real (no, I keep a fake lizard on my should and walk around like that :roll:
and people thought he was an iguana

I havent taken Kiku anywhere , Im always afraid she will get nervous and poo right in the middle of where we will be. You KNOW how that STINKS !! I think I will bathe her and make sure she poos and then take her to petco to get her used to going out. Maybe that will work out ok.

Would LOVE to take her out every where with me !

HAHA, my kids made me go see GI Joe, it wasn't bad if you are 5 and still playing with toys. I made them go with me to see District 9 and that was worth the watch. Your beardie might like that one better too. That is the one place I haven't taken Scorch because of the noise. Did yours sleep in the dark or stay up cause it's so loud?

I used to take my big boy Goliath to yard sales and the nursing home my mom works in. You'd be suprised how many old ladies would want to snuggle him but the old men were like "o hells to the NO" :laughhard:

I've taken the two camping out of state and into petsmart so far. And of course for short car rides and on walks. Nothing much. I better get movin!! :mrgreen:
