Where do i find dandelion greens

anyone know where i can get dandelion greens?

I get mine at whole foods. Do you have any health food or organic food stores by you? Another place would be a large farmer's market.

what about planting them, can you plant the seeds from wild dandelions?

I think that you probably can. Just make sure that no pesticides can get onto them. Even though we don't use them in my yard in makes me nervous because runoff will wash groundwater with other people's pesticides over my yard. I'm probably just a worry wart though.

I think they're like $3 around here. It's worth it for me to not worry about pesticides, plus it would take forever and a day to gather the amount that you get for $3.

Our local grocery store carries them, Meijer, but I don't think u have them in fl. but find a store with a good produce section and look around the kale and mustard greens. Or my neihbors yard. :lol:

I know of a field where the owner does not use any pesticides or anything and they have lots of dandelions roaming. I walk over there and take some because I know they don't do anything to it (they also pick their dandelions for their pets). You could try to find a place where you're sure the dandelions are safe to eat for your beardie, perhaps. Nothing better than free food!

Unfortunately, my beardie doesn't like dandelion leaves, lol.
