How Dare YOU give me Turnip Greens!

Last night, I drove to Kroger to buy some Dandelion Greens. Noticing they were out of them, I went ahead and bought him turnip greens. I said, "Ok. I'll put the dandelion green powder on them from Beardeddragon.co. He won't know the difference." RIGHT?! This morning, I prepared him a turnip green salad with all of his powders. He took a few bites and then realized he wasn't eating his favorite greens. He spat them out and gave me the stink eye!
I went out today to see if they had an order in. Thank goodness they got them in. But, I can almost hear him say, "HOW DARE YOU GIVE ME THOSE TURNIP GREENS!?"

The funniest thing is? I hope his roaches will eat them. So, no matter what, he'll still get turnip greens this weekend.

He really is! So, I have glasses. I don't think he likes to eat while I wear them. He stares at me when I wear them. Like, "What's this, Mommy? You look funny!!"
Anyway, he's very picky.
I gave him dandelion greens, a couple of very cooked canned beans. (Washed so many times that they were literally salt free. LOL) He ate 3-4 peas. Didn't want the last one. No big deal.
He was glass dancing and staring at the photos in his tank. I realized he had to poop so I took him to the bathroom, ran him a bath, and he went the biggest poop he had! Urate's still good. He had an over watery poop from being well hydrated.
After pooing, he had this large satisfied look on his face. A grin.

I usually "try" to wear my reading glasses when i give my guys water, i get the same impression. They don't like the glasses, so i take them off, then they and me alike wear as much of the water as they drink lol.

He'll stare at me until I take them off to feed him. He doesn't mind me having them on when he's lounging around on me. I guess it makes my eyes look pretty big!

When I first came home with them on, he literally tilted his head, stared, and didn't do anything.
My Mom also got glasses because she couldn't see. Same action with her. He's curious. Just doesn't know what to 'think'.

Update; I listed off some yummies today before I went shopping for his food. I told him if he wants something, lick his lips.

So, I asked if him he wanted yellow squash. No lick.
Zucchini? No lick.
Butternut Squash? Lick lick.
Red peppers? No lick
Yellow peppers? No lick
Orange Peppers? No lick.

I bought him butternut squash and for the first time since being out, he saw the shredded raw butternut squash on his plate. I waited for him to make the move to eat on his own. But, he waited for me to grab a piece of butternut squash and dandelion greens. He ate. Pretty good too.
Proud of him. Maybe tomorrow, he'll eat and then go poo in the bath tomorrow. He didn't do a lot of glass dancing or moving to the cool side of his tank. Usually he does when he has to poo.
