when can you tell if boy or girl?

Booger is almost 9 months old and 14" long, I lifted his tail up today but couldn't tell what he/she is. I can't feel 2 bumps and he/she acts more like a girl to me, when can you tell?

It is a hard judgement to make on basing gender from demeanor. As some females will head bob and some males will wave. Try this..

Hi, I find that right after a warm bath, you can really see the male/female bumps very well. Good luck.

Also would like to put in here, I have seen young males show then not show, then show again. I believe it is just how the males develop. It is definitely hard to get the right lighting to see the bumps on camera, especially on a young dragon. :wink:
