Looks to me like it might be a hypo. Can you get a close up of his nails?

He looks like a standard dragon to me. Still a little guy but his body shape and his posture indicate that he's happy and healthy so far. I like the stripe pattern he has going down his arms and legs.

It looks like the nails have dark pigment which indicates a standard dragon. What Heyimbrit was getting at is one way to tell a hypo dragon is to look at the nails. All of the nails will be clear on a hypo. They also tend to have lighter colors, especially on their shoulders. A Translucent will often have eyes that appear completely black and scales that appear translucent.

He looks like a happy little guy. He doesn't have any genetic traits that stand out but that's OK. I don't understand the rest of your question though. Just spend plenty of time with him and you'll learn his personality and more about him.

"Type" and the ones refered to are genetic mutations that effect your dragons appearance, usualy called morphs. Almost all dragons in the us pet trade are the same species (pogona vitticeps) but there are several lines of mutations available. Normal/standard/wild type refer to dragons who don't express or have these genes and look like basically wild dragons.

Hypo : hypomelanism : is a reduction in the melanin (black/brown) pigment cells resulting in clear nails and brighter colors.

Trans : translucent : is a reduction in the iridophores (cells responsible for reflecting light and "white") resulting in a unique look to the scales and the lack of the white sclera in the eyes.

Other morphs include
Leatherback : reduced spikes (tubricles)
Silkback : no scales
And a few more pretty rare ones.
