What to use do disinfect after a poo

What do I use to disinfect the tile after Zeus poops on it or do I just wipe it off or can I use a disinfective wipe and are they safe

I have reptile carpet in Jango's terrarium but when he poo's I clean it up with tissue or whatever you want.. then I take a toilet wet wipe and clean it up better.. he usually goes on his log and carpet both.. and then I spray Healthy Habitat on it.. but for tile i'm sure whatever you choose to clean it up with should be ok as long as you wipe it afterwards with a papertowel with just water just to make sure you get up any harmful stuff that may be left on the tile.. hope that makes sense.. i'm not good at explaining stuff.. sorry .. I do clean out his terrarium really good once a week if not more depending on how much of a mess he makes..

I have trouble with the fumes from most cleaning solutions, so we use vinegar for almost everything. Buddy likes to soak/poop in the dog's water bowl, and we've never used anything but soap, water, and vinegar to clean it. We also use it for the bathtub, floors, windows, and to disinfect the patio after Buddy relieves himself there. It won't whiten things like bleach, but it will disinfect and is safe if one of the animals manages to somehow ingest some.

i agree. vinegar disinfects like bleach, without the harsh fumes. plus it's cheap.

Many cleaning solutions due leave residues, probably the best thing to use is a dilute (50:1) bleach solution - it disinfects, and if you rinse afterwards and leave it to dry for a few hours there should be no harmful residues/fumes.

No chemicals at all. And is extremely easy and fast compared to using chemicals.

I soooo agree, and it's one of the only things effective at killing all parasites! Unfortunately I don't own a steamer yet, but I'm able to borrow one from work on occasion. For now I use a solution made with this stuff http://www.beardeddragons.co/beardeddragon/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=239 so I can be confident against parasites without having a steamer all the time.

I agree i have a steam cleaner as well and it works great. I also make a homemade cleaning solution for daily cleaning. It is one third water, vinegar, and rubbing alcohol. Top it off with some vanilla extract to help with the smell. The vinegar takes care of the pet odor and the rubbing alcohol disinfects. Hope this helps you as well.
