WHAT THE CRAP IS IN THE CRICKET FOOD!

Soo my cricket food i feed my crickets has little red bugs in it! I just noticed it today, i have been feeding it to the crickets for awhile and never noticed them. I have had the lid on at all times, is this normal??

I have neve heard of that before lol sounds like mites tbh :s I'd check first but I think you may have to replace the food and clean your tanks just in case.

I make my own gut load so i can say for sure, but that does sound odd

Weird. It's definetly not normal. What food are you using? I use Fluker's Orange Cubes; Complete Cricket Diet. Can you post pictures? All you need to do is get a photobucket account. For more details on how to post pics go to the photo expressions forum and read "How to post pics". Good luck!
