reviews frequently mention leaking and scalding. Have you ever had that issue with yours?

Nope :? Ive never had any problems with mine at all. Thats disappointing... I thought I was on to something there! LOL! At least it will give you an idea of the kind of thing you are looking for though

The problem for me is a) I want it to start cleaning immediately and I dont know if I can find it locally. Amazon may take some time and b) my wife wants one for other things as well. So as long as it is not going to physically touch the cage, etc. I am good to go. If it will, then I guess it's back to bleach, etc.

I should have my ReptAid tomorrow. I am going to start treatment and let everyone know how it goes. Also, now that you know that the fecal came back with the presence of strongyloid worm eggs, do you think what was in the pic is a full sized dead one?? Still look like it could be a seminal plug, but I am definitely not a pro.

I don't think it was that.

To my understanding full grown strongyloids are barely visible to the human eye.

I looked on amazon again-there are a few others that are pretty much the same with good reviews.
Just to let u know, I use mine for other things-the tiles in my bathroom are my latest steaming obsession! Lol!

Yup its just water that has been heated up into steam.

Yep. No chemicals so no waiting around for an age for things to be rinsed and dried and aired. It takes me around 30 mins to do a full clean of each viv. That includes taking out all times and steaming them and waiting for things to dry (although they take about 10 seconds to dry!) - My babies have their baths while im steaming. Of course, if they have been particularly dirty little poopers, it takes a bit longer and requires a little more elbow grease

I cannot find one anywhere around my local area! If I order from amazon, it will take some time to have it delivered, obviously. can I use antibacterial wipes on everything in the meantime? I am assuming that would kill the coccidia and strongylis.
