what am i doing wrong?

i tried breeding superworms about a month ago and have gone no where. i seperated the worms into their own deli cup. does the p;ace have to be totalyy dark? none have turned into an alien yet. how can i do this

you said deli cup, that could be the problem the cups might be to large the worms need to be in a smaller container. we use old film canister. wal-mart will give them over and other film locations just tell them its for your kids school project lol. I think this is the reason unless you have smaller supers worms in the cups needs to be large worms.

the deli cups are no bigger than an inch wide. the worms look big enough to me

It doesn't have to be totally dark. I pick out the biggest, juiciest looking worms I can find and put them into individual sections of a craft box (those plastic boxes used for holding beads or other craft supplies). Don't put any food or bedding in with them. Then I just leave them. The worms will first curl up into balls, and then begin to morph. My worm containers sit on a tv unit in my bedroom so it's not dark all the time. Keeping them nice and warm helps speed up the process.

i have them in my garage which i about 60 degress. is that to cold

Yes this could very well be the case try to keep them at least 75-80 my roach rooms ambient temp is at 78 and I have never had a problem getting these guys to turn.
