my bearded dragon is 8 months old, he is 11 1/2 inch and 80 grams. I saw on here he should be bigger and longer. Unless he is younger then 8 months. Is this right?

Dragons grow at their own pace --- he may be on a slow growth right now and then he could just start sprouting ---- please post a pic of your tank and lighting so we can see if there is a lighting issue

The UVB fixture does it have a reflector on it? If it does not you need to get one-- those rays are going everywhere but to him-- the reflector will reflect downward to him-- there is a website you can get one from- if you need it let me know I will post website

Your fixture has a reflector, you dont need to buy another one.
What is the distance in inches from the bulb to the basking surface?
In regards to your question, what does the daily diet look like? Quantity of bugs and type of bugs?
Eating salads?
What are the temps in your tank and how are you measuring them?

UVB buld is 14 1/2 inch from basking spot. He's salad is kale and zucchini. Bugs are dubia about 3 to 4 twice a day. And temps are 70 in the whole tank and 100 at the basking spot. But this is morning temps. I use a temp gun
Okayyyyy then we dont need a reflector and distance should be about right --- so I would increase the amount your feeding unless hes not eating anymore - feed him as many bugs as he will eat in a 10-15 minute time frame and add more salad material ----- like turnip greens mustard greens and collards - different squash like yellow or butternut --- here is a website you can go off to get more ideas to feed him http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html
I am gonna post some websites for you to get him other worms to feed him that will give him variety
BSFL - these are a staple feeder and they dont need to be dusted w/ calcium https://symtonbsf.com/ order large as they are small http://www.mulberryfarms.com/ www.dubiaroaches.com --- they carry horn worms butter worms -- the horn worms are a hydrating worm and they grow really fast so order small amount - the butter worms are a good worm just dont over do it www.rainbowmealworms.com -- I have been getting silk worms from here they are spendy and hard to find but another good staple worm www.abdragons.com
then you can always get super worms from petco or petsmart but then again you can always order from these places I gave you --- I would mix it up for him and watch his weight and growth
